Why we're here

The story behind ABN Cleanroom Technology

ABN Cleanroom Technology was founded in 1996 to cater to the rapidly expanding pharmaceutical and life sciences industries. Over the years, we have built a proud legacy of delivering innovative and even disruptive solutions to meet our customers’ cleanroom demands. Our journey began with a strong understanding of HVAC, a relentless focus on the technical aspects of air filtration and a keen concern for optimizing cleanroom energy consumption. This knowledge paved the way for the development and success of our patented VIX™ concept.

As the demand for quick and efficient cleanroom solutions escalated, we initiated the development and engineering of standardized building blocks. This strategic move allowed us to move away from the conventional cleanroom project approach and mitigate potential risks of failure associated with starting every project from scratch. Instead, we harnessed the advantage of configuring our building blocks to create high-quality cleanrooms tailored to our customers’ needs. This transition from projects to productized cleanroom solutions proved to be a success, establishing us as a pioneering force in the field of cleanroom technology.

Since then, our offerings expanded to include a fleet of mobile cleanrooms, and we launched a dedicated cleanroom product department specializing in industry-leading short lead times. In addition, we introduced two cutting-edge cleanroom monitoring solutions – CleanConnect™ and GMPConnect™. Decades of continuous innovation and improvement have cemented our position as a trusted cleanroom partner for numerous clients.

In today’s fast-paced business landscape, where time and efficiency are paramount, we recognize that delays can lead to significant operating costs. Therefore, our commitment lies in delivering the most pre-engineered cleanroom projects and products, ensuring remarkable short lead times. Our team of experts is devoted to meeting all your specific cleanroom requirements, whether it’s related to design, construction, commissioning, validation, maintenance, or monitoring software. At ABN Cleanroom Technology, we are ready to be your partner on your cleanroom journey.

Higher purpose

Our approach to cleanroom design has evolved over time with Design for Sustainability and Design for Circularity as central value propositions. The central premise has shifted from pure design and placement to deploying a cleanroom as a whole, enabling circular business models through data disclosure, resulting in ultimate lifecycle extension. Only by transforming the business model to an as-a-Service model, do we enable our company to deliver value in a sustainable way.

The new cleanroom economy starts here. And we are pioneering this new economy.

1. Off-site production, on-site assembling

Legolisation means standardisation. Standardisation causes a shift in production. Work is carried out in conditioned spaces such as factory halls. our cleanrooms are manufactured partly or entirely off-site, which means huge savings on transport costs and reduction of inconvenience on-site
